once when someone asked me how much time i had i said 'only twelve days' and they said 'don't say only, there's a guy on the corner who wishes he had twelve minutes ....'
and here i am after having been sober for years, now relapsed for maybe 2 and a half ... just kicked heroin again eight days ago ... and just called dear sober mentor. going back to meetings tomorrow (living in new orleans, not many meetings left) ...
